Samhain (Halloween Wish)

Samhain  (Halloween) Wish

Ghosts and goblins on the prowl,

Owls hoot, and werewolves howl.

Witches and devils scurry about

Good candy over here, they shout!

Waxing windows and smashing pumpkins,

Halloween fun for little munchkins.

Innocent fun in the days of old,

So different from today, I’m told.

A time when childhood was carefree.

A time of happiness and glee.

I often wish we could return

To those days so we could learn

To love the world and to love others

And live together as sisters and brothers.
